GNAW BONE — A call to police about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex resulted in the arrest of a Nashville woman for possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony.

Sarah A. McCoy, 25, Upper Schooner Road, was an occupant in a vehicle at Forest Hills Apartment complex that someone had called in as suspicious Sept. 1.

When Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Austin Schonfeld and Nashville Police Officer Richard King arrived, a “nervous” man was walking from the vehicle.

King asked McCoy if there was anything in the vehicle and McCoy told King that there was meth, the report said. She gave him consent to search and King reported seeing tinfoil on the driver’s seat.

Police reported finding less than one gram of meth in the foil.
