An accident in Brown County State Park on Sept. 3 resulted in the arrest of a Bargersville man for drug possession.

Indiana Conservation Officer Brent Bohbrink reported that he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle of Kevin P. Ringham, 31.

Ringham denied having anything in the vehicle and gave Bohbrink verbal consent to search. Less than 30 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia were found in the center console, the report said.

A search of the suspect yielded a bag with 11 pills in his left front pocket, the report said. Bohbrink reported they were Clonazepam, a Schedule IV controlled substance.

Ringham was charged Sept. 13 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, all misdemeanors; operating a vehicle without financial responsibility, and no valid driver’s license, both infractions.
