A Bloomington woman was injured after she crashed her vehicle on Clay Lick Road Sept. 17.

Samantha E. Glenn, 22, was driving north on Clay Lick Road when she crossed a grated bridge that was angled to the right into a right turn. According to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Colton Edens Magner, Glenn’s speed on the wet road caused her to lose control. Her 2008 Toyota Prius Hybrid ran into a ditch on the east side of the road.

Glenn complained of back and chest-area pain and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Her vehicle was towed. She was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
