HAMBLEN TWP. — A Franklin motorcyclist had to be flown to a hospital after he ran off Nineveh Road and into a ditch.

Clayton L. Marriott, 46, told Lt. Mike Moore with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department that he was southbound on Nineveh Road when he ran off the road for an unknown reason Aug. 29.

He was flown to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital for a broken femur. He was wearing a helmet, the report said.

Marriott was ticketed for not having an endorsement to operate a motorcycle and for not having insurance.
