Traffic stop results in drug arrest of woman

A Nashville woman faces two drug-related charges after she was pulled over for driving left of center.

On Aug. 30, Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht stopped Cassandra S. McGuire, 35, and discovered three grams of marijuana, the police report said.

McGuire handed Eggebrecht a marijuana “roach” after being asked to search the vehicle. She told Eggebrehct a bong was under her console, and handed the officer a baggie of marijuana after he was unable to find it, the report said.

Eggebrecht also reported finding a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in it in the vehicle.

McGuire was charged Aug. 30 with possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
