Tyra J. “Ty” (Hicks) Marker, 72, Trafalgar, died Monday morning, Aug. 29, 2016 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

Ty is survived by her husband, Daryl W. Marker; children, James Marker of Indianapolis, Michael (Leigh Ann) Marker of Brown County, Phil Marker of Franklin and Andy (Kelli) Marker of Greenwood; siblings, Sherry Whittemore of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jack (Linda) Hicks of Franklin; and seven grandchildren.

The Revs. Ed Tharpe, Rick Owensby and Johnnie Perkins will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown.

Friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown.
