BROWN COUNTY AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Area Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on August 24, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Martha Jessup for approval of an application for a front setback Variance.
Legal description of premises:
A part of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 36, Township 10 North/ Range 2 East, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said quarter quarter section which said corner is located in the middle of State Road No. 45 at the Western boundary of the School House Lot at Bean Blossom and running; Thence South 229-1/4 feet; thence West 285 feet; thence North 229-1/4 feet; thence East 285 feet to the place of beginning;

Part of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 36, Township 10 North, Range 2 East, Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at an iron pin found in State Road No. 45 marking the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 36; thence South 01 degree 43 minutes East (assumed bearing) with the East line of said Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter 224.4 feet to a capped rebar set; thence South 88 degrees 37 minutes West 285.0 feet to a capped rebar set; thence North 01 degree 42 minutes West 227.3 feet to an iron pin set in State Road No. 45 in the North line of said Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter; thence North 89 degrees 12 minutes East with said State Road and said North line 285.0 feet to the beginning, containing 1.48 acres, more or less.
The property is located at 75 State Road 45 West in Jackson Township.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the application. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
