STORY — An Indianapolis man was ejected from his motorcycle after running off State Road 135 South in a curve.

The crash happened at 5:40 p.m. July 31 near Susie Ayers Road. Daniel J. Pfeiffer, 57, told police he was southbound on the highway going about 30 mph when for some reason his Harley went to the right side of the road and off into a ditch.

Pfeiffer was ejected. Two other riders were with him, the police report said.

Pfeiffer had “incapacitating” injuries and back pain and was taken to a hospital, the report said. He was not wearing a helmet.
