A head-on crash between two vehicles on Four Mile Ridge Road resulted in minor injuries to both drivers, a police report said.

It occurred at about 3:40 p.m. Aug. 1 between Jeffrey L. Norris, 34, of Greenwood and Kelly J. Glidden, 45, of Nashville.

Norris told police he was eastbound in a pickup truck when he hit a broken section of pavement. When he saw Glidden’s Chevy Avalanche coming, he slammed on his brakes and skidded into the driver’s side corner of the Avalanche.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles. Both drivers were treated for pain at the scene, the report said.
