HAMBLEN TWP. — A Franklin man has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated in Brown County.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Williams reported seeing Matthew Curry driving in the 8600 block of Bean Blossom Road July 28. The officer did not explain in his report what led to him to stop him.

Williams reported smelling alcohol on Curry, seeing beverage containers in his Jeep, and that his speech was slurred and his eyes were glassy, the report said. His blood-alcohol content measured at 0.11, the report said.

Curry was charged July 28 with two alcohol-related misdemeanors.
