Jeanetta (Scrougham) Lauderdale, 85, Bloomington, died Wednesday evening, July 27, 2016, at her residence.

Jeanetta is survived by her children, Mary (Donald) Balser of Greensburg, Ronald Lauderdale of Elnora, Janet (Terry) Sullivan, Joyce (Charles) Flanders and Bonnie (David) Morgan, all of Bloomington; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Lauderdale of Otwell; 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Shelly Work of Indianapolis and Dee Work of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lauderdale; son, Billy Dean Lauderdale; and a great-granddaughter.

The Rev. Larry Mitchell conducted a funeral service July 30 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Centerin Morgantown. Friends called prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brown County.
