Command Sergeant Major Timothy E. “Tim” Gray, (Ret.), 58, Brown County, died Wednesday morning, July 20, 2016, at his home.

Tim is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. (McMahon) Gray; father, Robert “Bob” (wife, Iris E. Gray); children, Wesley Gray of Evansville, Tiaré (husband, Zach) Wray of Nineveh, Breenna (husband, Tim) Fields of Morgantown; four grandchildren; siblings, Joseph (wife,Tamara) Gray of Greenwood, Robert (wife, Pam) Gray of Knoxville, Tennessee, Thomas “Tom” (wife, Rea) Gray of Greenwood, Tina Tryon of Greenwood, Tammy (husband, Brad) Weaver of Cape Coral, Florida and Paul Gray of Columbus.

The Rev. Burt Brock conducted a funeral service July 24 at the First Christian Church of Morgantown. Friends called prior to the service at the church.

A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown. Services were entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
