Ohio man charged with OWI after stop

A traffic stop for speeding June 19 resulted in the drunken-driving arrest of an Ohio man.Nashville Police Officer Matt Hatchett pulled over a 2006 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Tony D. McFalls, 37, of Columbus, Ohio, at the Law Enforcement Center at 2:45 a.m.

Hatchett reported smelling alcohol on McFalls, that his speech was slurred and his eyes were red and watery. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.16, twice the legal limit for a driver.

On June 20, he was charged with two alcohol-related misdemeanors.
