A traffic stop for reckless driving July 2 resulted in the arrest of a Bloomington man.

While responding to another complaint on Deckard Ridge Road, Sgt. Mike Moore saw a reckless driver northbound in a white Ford Mustang. Moore stopped the car and discovered that the driver, Steven Allen Levay, 36, was driving with a suspended license, the report said.

After being placed in handcuffs, Levay was searched. He had a baggie of marijuana and a one-hitter pipe in his pocket, the report said.

A search of his vehicle yielded a glass pipe with possible drug residue, Moore reported.

Levay was also wanted in Monroe County for contempt of court and failure to appear.

He was charged July 11 with driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
