Youth golf camp offered at Salt Creek

Golf camp for students entering the fourth through ninth grades will take place at Salt Creek Golf Retreat, 2359 State Road 46 East, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 20 and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21.

Camp instructors will be Ben VanNess, PGA pro at Salt Creek Golf Retreat and Brown County High School girls varsity co-coach; Brad Baughman, BCHS boys varsity coach and BCHS girls varsity co-coach; and former and current high school golfers.

Register online or the first day for $35 per camper. Bring clubs if possible, but clubs will be available for those who do not have any.

Golf scramble to fund free books for kids

A golf scramble Thursday, July 21, at Salt Creek Golf Retreat, 2359 State Road 46 East, will benefit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides free books to children in Brown County age 5 and younger.
