A Homestead Road man faces two operating a vehicle while intoxicated charges after a traffic stop for crossing the center line.

Nashville Police Officer Richard King stopped Andres Salas Castillo, 39, near Old State Road 46 and Snyder Road at around noon July 9.

He reported smelling alcohol on Castillo and seeing alcohol containers in his vehicle. King also reported that Castillo’s eyes were bloodshot and he had an “abusive attitude” toward police.

His blood-alcohol content was more than 0.20, nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08.

Castillo was charged Sept. 9 with two OWI counts, both misdemeanors.
