To the editor:

On behalf of Art Alliance Brown County and Arts Village Cinefest 2016, there are a number of people and businesses I’d like to thank publicly for making the 2016 Cinefest possible.

Generous contributors included Psi Iota Xi, Cornerstone Inn, Lawrence Family Glassblowers, Hills O’ Brown Realty, Brown County Winery, Michael’s Flowers, River Light Yoga, Cindy Steele/Our Brown County, People’s State Bank, Steve Miller Architects, Austin Insurance, the Emerald Pencil, That Sandwich Place, Brown County Playhouse, Roberta Chirko, Brenda Jackson and Kathy Anderson.

Thanks to Rachel Perry, Steve Miller and Joan Rigley for their presentation and Tom Preston for his workshop and jurying of the photography exhibit, Lyn Letsinger-Miller for presenting and commenting on her film, and Hunter’s Electronics for video assistance. Thanks to WFIU for media sponsorship.

Our hard-working committee included Kathy Anderson, Lee Edgren, Michele Pollock, Pamela Keech and Anabel Hopkins.

The 2016 Cinefest film festival featured films of historic Brown County artists in celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial. We thank the citizens who attended the events on June 17 and 18. A juried exhibit of black and white photographs will remain up at the Playhouse through July 2.

Anabel Hopkins, Art Alliance Brown County
