Louise M. “Guthrie” George, 60, of Nashville, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Survivors include her husband, Ellis “Worm” George of Nashville; two daughters, Jill George of Ellettsville and Jenny Sain (Doug) of Seal Rock, Oregon; two granddaughters; a brother, Robert Murdock (Barbara); brother-in-law, Larry George; and sisters-in-law, Linda Lysher, Wanda Giles, Brenda Stewart (Ron), Carol Ellett and Connie Freeman (Gerald).

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, at the chapel.

Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery, where Monroe County Veteran’s Honor Guard will perform military rites.
