Cordry Sweetwater Conservancy District to obtain assistance from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan Program for Water Utility Improvements

The Cordry Sweetwater Conservancy District (CSCD) will hold a public hearing at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the CSCD Clubhouse, located at 8751 Nineveh Road, Nineveh, IN 46164. The utility’s engineering consultant, Curry & Associates, Inc., will present the recommended improvements, which include water main and water meter replacements, water tank painting, SCADA upgrades, backup power, and an emergency connection to Brown County Water Utility, as described in the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER). The project will be funded through a DWSRF loan.

At this hearing, there will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public. If special assistance is required at the meeting, please contact Josh Hawley, CSCD Maintenance Supervisor, at 317-933-2893. Copies of the PER are available for public viewing starting June 10,2016 at the CSCD Office, located at 8377 Cordry Drive Nineveh, IN 46164. Written comments regarding this project should be sent to Lori Young, Curry & Associates, 110 Commerce Drive, Danville, IN 46122 by June 27, 2016.
