MILFORD, Pa. — National Park Service officials and a coroner are investigating a man’s body found in a creek in Pennsylvania’s Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area.

Park rangers removed the body after it was found by a group of people fishing in Sawhill Creek about 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Park officials and the Pike County coroner have yet to release the man’s name, though he’s been described as likely in his mid- to late-20s.

The coroner didn’t immediately return a call and email seeking additional comment Wednesday.

The man’s cause of death also hasn’t been released and remains under investigation.
