Letter: ‘When I couldn’t walk, my friends carried me’

To the editor:

I want to thank all of those who offered their support and kindness during the emotional time of the death of Phil Prewitt, my fiance.

There is a saying that hit home during this time of grief: “When I couldn’t walk, my friends carried me.” Every hug, every word of support, every act of kindness has helped me with renewing my strength and healing.

“Thank you” doesn’t seem to be enough. I feel truly blessed by the support of our families and friends.
