Letter: Time to take action in absence of new Opry?

0

To the editor:

It appears to me the Opry is not going to be rebuilt. Therefore, in my opinion, the economic development committee, along with forward-thinking local business people, should form a task force for the express purpose of finding an investor or investors to build the Little Nashville Opry.

The project needs to get done. We need the revenue and energy the Opry would provide.

I also believe a better location to build and accommodate the Opry is the old Ski World property.

And I thank the powers that be for eliminating street parking on State Road 135 North between Franklin and Mound streets.
