CORINTH, Miss. — A former principal at a church-run school is accused of sexual offenses involving minors.
Court records show that 37-year-old Michael Shane Casabella of Iuka is free on $40,000 bond.
An Alcorn County grand jury indicted him last week on three counts each of fondling and enticement, two of sexual battery and one of using a computer to lure a minor.
The indictment alleged that one incident occurred on the campus of North Corinth Christian Academy while Casabella was principal there. The Daily Corinthian (http://bit.ly/1WaoG7N ) reports that at least two other counts involved the same girl.
Casabella could not be reached for comment because directory assistance did not have a listing for him.
