HOUSTON — A March-through-May prostitution crackdown in Houston has led to charges against more than two dozen suspects.

Houston police on Friday announced the arrest of 26 men accused of attempting to buy sex. Investigators say all of the defendants are charged with prostitution.

A police statement says the enforcement effort targeted an area of southeast Houston after citizens complained about prostitution activity.

Records show the suspects range from 20 to 69 years old.
