Former Brown County resident Sheri M. Wooten, 51, of Swayzee, died Friday, April 29, 2016, in Brown County.

Survivors include her father, Joseph Brockman of Columbus; mother, Kathleen Brockman of Brown County;  husband, James H. Wooten of Swayzee; children, Anthony (Shannon) Wooten and Chelsey Wooten, both of Columbus, and Bryttany Wooten of North Vernon; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Sheila Bostic and Thomas Brockman, both of Brown County.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 2 at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathon Moore Pike in Columbus with Greg Wooten officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Daugherty Cemetery.
