John W. Richards, 81, Trafalgar, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Brenda (Bradley) Stone of Morgantown, Kathy (Larry) Abel of Trafalgar, John (Nan) Richards of Martinsville, Anthony (Starla) Lykins of Indianapolis, Tina (Gary) Lape of Brown County and Nikole (Jimmie) Mull of New Whiteland; siblings, Charlie (Mary Jane) Richards, Bob (Elaine) Richards and Mary Voland, all of Brown County; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Richards.

A service will be conducted at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
