Notice to Taxpayers of Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Brown County, Indiana, that the County Council will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place at 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana at 6:30 pm on the 16th day of May, 2016.

Amount Requested

Fund Name:  CAGIT Public Safety Fund #7311

Capital Outlays                 $37,334.88

Fund Name:  CAGIT Certified Shares Fund #1110

Contracts and Services    $13,663.50

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF).  The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
