SWEETWATER LAKE — An 18-year-old driver and her passenger were injured March 29 near Sweetwater Lake.Brown County sheriff’s deputies, Cordry Sweetwater Volunteer firefighters and the Cordry Ambulance responded to the accident at Sweetwater and Antelope drives at 9 p.m.

The driver, Delannie Adkins, 18, Nineveh, ran off the road, down an embankment and stopped near the edge of a lake, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department.

Adkins and a passenger younger than 18 were taken by ambulance to Johnson Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, the release said.
