Charles L. Sater, 87, of Bloomington, died Saturday morning, April 16, 2016, at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Charles is survived by his wife, Marilyn J. Sater of Bloomington; three sons, Charles E. “Chuck” (Susan) Sater of Nashville, Kenneth J. (Lori) Sater of Corydon, and John D. (Debbie) Sater of Newburgh; a daughter, Kathy J. (Eric) Arnold of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leona Brock of Bloomington and Bonnie Owens of Hernando, Florida; and a brother, Milton (Sandra) Sater of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Allen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Road 37 in Bloomington.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the funeral home and from noon Wednesday until service time.

Burial will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery, Ellettsville.

Memorial contributions can be given through the funeral home to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
