Norman M. Noe, 72, of Brown County, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

He was born Nov. 14, 1943, in Huntington Park, California, to the late Harold and Ruth “Norma” (Stricker) Noe.

Norman was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield High School and later served in the Army National Guard. He would then marry the love of his life, Debbie, in 1975.

Norman loved photography, boating and fishing. He was also an avid hot rod fan and was a member of the Broke Bunch Car Club in Franklin and the ISRA. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and was a member of the Harley-Davidson HOG Chapter in Bloomington. He was an avid golfer and member of the former Greenfield County Club. He was a member of the Greenfield Elks Lodge, the NRA and a lifetime member of American Water Works. Norman received his pilot’s license from Pope Field in Greenfield and loved piloting private aircraft. He was also the owner and operator of Norman Noe Company Inc.

Norman is survived by his wife, Debbie Noe of Brown County; daughter, Tara (Brad) Noe-Armstrong of New Palestine; sister, Doris (Mike) Parnell; granddaughters, Shelby and Sydney Armstrong, both of New Palestine; and nephew, Kent (Tasha) Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Kristina Noe.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial immediately following in Park Cemetery in Greenfield. A celebration of life gathering will follow from 3 to 8 p.m. at Hawks Tail Golf Club, 145 S. Morristown Pike, Greenfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cordry Sweetwater Volunteer Fire Department, 101 Firehouse Road, Nineveh, IN 46164.
