A Columbus woman pulled over for not having a working taillight and arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Officer Michael Williams pulled over Christie A. Crippen, 53, in the 1200 block of Old State Road 46 at around 10:15 p.m. March 26.

Crippen told Williams she had been drinking, according to a probable cause affidavit. Williams reported smelling alcohol on Crippen and that her eyes were bloodshot and balance unsteady.

A chemical test administered at the jail showed her blood- alcohol level to be 0.16, twice the legal limit.

She was charged March 29 with two misdemeanors.
