LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A REPLAT
BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Area Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on April 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Greg V. Miller to allow a Replat of Lots 14 and 15.
The location of the property is 316 Jefferson Street N. in Washington Township.
Legal description of premises:
A part of Lot Numbered Fifteen (15) in the Grace Maynard Addition to the Town of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana, same being a part of the West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, as recorded in Plat Cabinet No. 1, Sleeve 22A, in the office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot Numbered Fourteen (14) in said Grace Maynard Addition to the Town of Nashville; Thence North 1 degree West. 35 feet to a point; Thence South 83-1/2 degrees East 240 feet to a point, said point being the Northeast corner of Lot Numbered Fourteen (14); Thence South 88 degrees West 237.3 feet to the point of beginning.
Lot Numbered.Fourteen (14) in the Grace Maynard Addition to the Town of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana, as recorded in Plat Cabinet No. 1, Sleeve 22A, in the office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows: A part of the West half of the southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, and more particularly descried as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of the said West half 427 feet East of the Southwest corner thereof, and running thence North 1 degree West 284:7 feet; Thence North 88 degrees East 237.3 feet; Thence in a Southerly direction 285 feet to a point on the South line of said West half 221 feet East of the place of beginning; Thence West to the place of beginning, estimated.to contain 1-1/2 acres, more or less.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
