INDIANAPOLIS — A 67-year-old Brown County man who sustained serious injuries when his semi overturned last week in Columbus has died.

Steve A. Huber Sr., Nashville, died Tuesday at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was being treated for severe head injuries.

Huber had been a self-employed truck driver for the past 50 years, his obituary stated.

Investigators said Huber was trapped in his semi after the vehicle, which was carrying large logs, tipped over on a sharp curve near the 3400 block of West Lowell Road at about 9 a.m. April 1.

Huber was initially trapped in the semi cab but was extricated by firefighters and then flown to Indianapolis by medical helicopter.
