Steve A. Huber Sr., 67, Nashville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at IU Health – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Steve was born in Columbus on Jan. 19, 1949, to the late, Arwine and Ruby Helen (Woods) Huber. He was a 1968 graduate of Brown County High School and went on to marry Mona Lou Snyder on July 18, 1970, in Belmont. She lovingly survives after 45 devoted years of marriage.

Steve was a self-employed truck driver, horse logger, and excavator for the past 50 years. He also worked on his family farm in Brown County raising cattle and horses. Steve will be remembered for being a workaholic and always there to help others in need. He enjoyed working with horses, taking care of his dogs and spending time with his family.

Steve is survived by his wife, Mona Lou Huber; children, Steve (Kara) Huber Jr. of Vernon, Joyce (Pat) Knapp and Bill (Casie) Huber, both of Nashville, Travis (Crystal) Huber of Brown County; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Colten Huber.

The Rev. Matt Satter will conduct a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Duncan Cemetery in Nashville.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 9 at Faith Full Gospel Church, 6881 State Road 135 North in Brown County.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
