Holocaust survivor to speak at high school Monday

photoEva Kor, Holocaust survivor of the Nazi Auschwitz prison camp during World War II, will speak at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4 in the Larry C. Banks Memorial Gymnasium of Brown County High School.

The presentation will focus on Kor’s childhood experiences. With her twin sister, Miriam, Kor become a part of the Dr. Mengele Twins Experimentation Program.

“Ms. Kor’s message will be one of survival and of forgiveness as she recounts her firsthand experiences during this most difficult time,” Superintendent David Shaffer said in a press release, inviting everyone in the community to attend.

Kor will be available before and after her remarks to sell her book and autograph copies.
