56eefd94171d3.imageMargaret L. (Lee) Brumley, 74, passed away Sunday morning, March 20, 2016, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin and former resident of Brown County.

Margaret was born in Jacksonville, Florida on Feb. 11, 1942, to the late, Everett W. and Ruby A. (Alsobrook) Lee. She married Fred N. Brumley on Dec. 27, 1966, in Indianapolis; he lovingly survives after 49 devoted years of marriage.

Margaret retired in 2004 as deli manager for Cub Foods at Eastgate Shopping Center in Indianapolis after 16 years of service. Prior to that, she worked in the same position for A & P Supermarket in Beech Grove for 8 years.

Margaret was a member of Franklin First Assembly of God Church. She cherished her time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time on the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; children, Mark Glisson of Lakeland, Florida, Lisa Glisson of Franklin, Brian (Katrina) Brumley of Columbus and Charles “Chuck” (Angie) Brumley of Bargersville; siblings, Christine Lee of Greenwood, Annette Lee Shields Helman of Tallahassee, Florida, and Fred Lee of Havana, Florida; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Lee Brumley; siblings, Angus, Marvin, Chrystelle and Lunita Lee, and Erma Koziol.

The Rev. Phillip Curtis will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown.

Friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
