ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Detroit Lions have signed free agent safety Rafael Bush.

The Lions announced the move Saturday.

Bush played for the New Orleans Saints from 2012-15 and was with the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons before that. Bush tore his pectoral muscle in New Orleans’ season opener last year and didn’t play for the rest of the season.

Bush has started 14 games in his NFL career. He was originally signed by the Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Carolina State.
