New downtown restrooms to be open this spring

On Tuesday, March 15, Nashville Utilities plans to work on the water and sewer hookups for the new town restrooms.

The southbound portion of Honeysuckle Lane will be blocked, but traffic will be able to flow through the PNC Bank parking lot for banking business or through traffic.

“We are hoping to have the project done within a day’s time, but depending on the weather and unforeseen reasons, it may take up to two days,” said Nashville Chief Administrator Phyllis Carr.

Village Green building employees will be able to use the four parking spaces in front of that building while work is being done. They will be blocked off before work starts. “We are asking no one but the Village Green employees use these spaces during this project,” Carr said.
