Denise (Fisher) Payton, 50, of Trafalgar, died Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 2016 after a year-long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Kip D. Payton; mother, Sarah Fisher of DeWitt, Arkansas; siblings, Diane Fisher, WyGonda Fisher, both of DeWitt, AR, LaRonda (Wesley) Hamm of Lexington, Oklahoma; Vance (Teresa) Fisher of DeWitt, AR, and Maleta (Dewayne) Schmidt of Morgantown.

Bros. Stan White and Landis Thompson will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown.
