PEOGA — A Sweetwater Trail woman was injured in a crash on Beech Tree Road.

Christine M. Wilborn, 26, was not at the scene when officers arrived early in the morning Feb. 17, according to an accident report by Sgt. Mike Moore.

Moore reported that Wilborn’s vehicle appeared to have been traveling east on Beech Tree Road when it left the road, struck a utility pole, traveled to the north side of the road and struck an embankment twice before coming to a stop on its roof in the road.

Wilborn reportedly walked to a nearby house. She was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital for treatment of knee, lower leg and foot pain.

Her Ford Taurus was towed. She was wearing a seat belt.
