FRUITDALE State Road 135 North at Three Story Hill Road was closed for about an hour Feb. 27 because of a crash involving two vehicles.

At about 7 p.m., Beth Foraker, 48, Morgantown, was northbound and turning left onto Three Story Hill Road from State Road 135 North when she collided head-on with a southbound Ford F-150.

Foraker told Brown Sheriff’s Deputy Joshua Stargell that she tried to avoid the truck, driven by Clifton Beezley, 29, Franklin.

The officer found Foraker’s Honda Odyssey sideways in the road and the truck in a yard.

All three passengers in Beezley’s truck were injured. Beezley sustained possible broken ribs and a bruise on his head. He was taken by ambulance to Johnson Memorial Hospital.

Beezley’s front seat passenger, Joshua Quick, 19, Franklin, received a broken nose and a 4-year-old child had a scratch on the face, the release said.

Foraker’s vehicle had four occupants. The front seat passenger, Paula Gardner, 46, Morgantown, complained of chest pain, but was checked out by an ambulance crew and did not seek medical treatment.

Everyone was wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were towed.
