The Brown County Bluebird Society was to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 at the Brown County Public Library.
The group will view a short video and discuss the upcoming bluebird nesting season. Everyone is welcome. Help will be provided to anyone who wants to erect a bluebird nesting box.

COLUMBUS — The Columbus Star Quilters Guild will meet at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Masonic Lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road. All are welcome.
The March program includes show-and-tell. The guild’s annual auction is this month and includes fabric, books and other sewing items.
The Brown County Woodworkers Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Brown County Public Library, 205 N. Locust Lane. Founder and director of the Marc Adams School of Woodworking, Marc Adams will be the guest speaker.
Those interested in woodworking, spouses and friends are welcome.

Art Alliance Brown County will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in lower-level room B of the Brown County Public Library.
The meeting, open to the public, will include a continuation of the series “Get Serious About Selling Your Art” which features members who are successful in different media, markets and strategies. Chris Gustin, of Homestead Weavers in Brown County, will talk about her career and the venues, methods and promotion involved in being a successful artist and entrepreneur.

The Brown County Historical Society will conduct its general meeting Monday, March 7, at the Brown County History Center, 90 E. Gould St. Roger Kelso will speak about the Salt Creek Shrimp Company.
A pitch-in dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a brief business meeting and the program.
Beginning in March, the Brown County Photography Club will meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in lower-level meeting room C of the Brown County Public Library, 205 N. Locust Lane. Open to photographers of all skill levels, the next meeting will be March 8.
Drop-in visitors are welcome. The club hosts monthly field trips to nearby venues for photo shoots.
