Bruce E. Cassal, 68, Unionville, died in his home, Friday evening, Feb. 5, 2016, after a nine-month battle with cancer.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Joyce Jordan Cassal; his son, Kyle Reese Cassal; his mother, Florence Cassal; a grandson; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Cassal of Olympia, Washington; four stepchildren, Jennifer (Peek) Harper of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, Caleb Peek of Greenwood, and Melinda (Peek) Fortner and Nathan Peek, both of Michigan City; and four stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne F. Reese.

A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Deer Park Manor, 1501 E. Hillside Drive in Bloomington.
