County under travel advisory

Due to today’s snow making roads slick, Brown County is under a travel advisory.

The “advisory” level means that “routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas,” according to the Brown County Emergency Management Agency.

As of 5 p.m., Schooner and Kelley hills on State Road 46 West were closed while state highway plows tried to clear them.
