William ‘Bub’ Lee

William “Bub” Bernard Lee, Jr., 64,  Nashville, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at his home.

He was born May 31, 1950, in Lexington, Miss., to William Bernard Lee Sr. and Genevieve Sullivan Lee. He was retired from Cummins Engine Inc.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Julie Waltman Lee of Nashville; two sons, Brandon and Trenton Lee, both of Nashville; two brothers, John “Rusty” Lee and David (Susan) Lee, both of Bloomington; two sisters, Alma Wootton of Nashville and Cathie (Rick) Pearson of Bloomington; mother- and father-in-law, Lee and Lois Waltman of Nashville; a brother-in-law, David Waltman; two sisters-in-law, Lisa (Steve) Day and Ellen (Danny) Masteller; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bub was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He also enjoyed woodworking, farming, remodeling homes and bluegrass music, especially when it was his son performing. As an all-around handyman, he was always helping his neighbors and family with any project that they had and helping his sons work on their cars. Bub was a giving person and even in death donated the gift of life to those who could benefit from his unselfish gift.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Pastor Tim Bond officiating.

Burial will follow in Duncan Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. before services Friday, Dec. 26.
